Sorry it's been a while

Hi folks,

I am still here but have been focused on another money making opportunity. I will be setting up a different blog to document my findings with that other opportunity. I did want to post my findings about paid surveys.

- many survey's/sites offer points or sweepstakes entry
I am not interested in those as you have to earn too many points for you to get any cash. I had done a survey then calculated that after 20 minutes it was giving me something like 30 cents. Not worth the time

- Even if you start a survey, you may not be accepted to complete it. I spent a good 20 minutes on a survey only to be told that I didn't qualify - i was about 65% done!!!

- The site I find is the best at the moment is surveyhead they offer paypal payment and i completed a survey worth $3 - not bad for 10 mins work. The only negative is you need to have $25 before you can cash out. I'm currently sitting at $10 we'll see how long it takes me.

World Market Systems

Well Day 3 of my paid surveys, this has been an interesting one. Tonight, I received a call from World Market Systems. They ask if I am interested in making money online and if I recognize companies like ebay and amazon. I told them I was interested as I wanted to hear more about what this was about. Anyhow, they start off with a recorded message from satisfied customers and then a message of how it works. What they will do is setup a website for you (with a domain of your choice) and set you up to be an affiliate of either ebay, amazon, travelocity or sony (or all if platinum package). They have 3 different packages (Silver, Gold and Platinum). Anyhow they were very pushy for me to sign up to a package immediately. I told them I needed to think about it. They said I was getting a special price for today only. (yeah right!) I did an internet search on them and it looks like a scam - see link. After you sign-up on their package it looks like they up-sell you with advertising packages. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Starting out on paid surveys

Day 1 and 2:
I have for a long time wondered if you can make any money online. I do not believe in any of the "free" offers that then charge you an expensive monthly fee. I have seen ads for paid surveys for a while so I figured I would give it a try. Yesterday I signed up for several paid survey sites. I must say that this took me quite a bit of time (over 4 hours), in terms of filling out the online profiles for the web sites. As part of this blog I will track how much time I have spend on each site and what the reward has been. The list of sites that I registered for is as follows:

Synovate Global Opinions Panel
Web Perspectives
Ipsos i-say
Opinion World
Global Test Market
Clear Voice Surveys
Survey Doctor
Survey Locator Canada
Surveyhead
Opinion Outpost
Public Opinions
Harris Poll Online
NPD Online Research
World Market Systems
Myview Research Community
Canada Survey Panel
Mindfield Online

Ok, so maybe I went a little overboard I figured the more the better.
